Why the personal-phone default is a problem
A client conversation on a personal handset is invisible to the rest of the practice, unrecoverable when that person is unavailable, and gone entirely when they leave. It is also the hardest place to demonstrate that confidentiality was maintained.
Moving the channel into the workspace does not change how the client behaves. It changes whether the practice can account for what was said.

- Yes — the integration connects a WhatsApp Business number through Meta's platform. Your existing personal WhatsApp is not the same thing.
- Is WhatsApp included in my plan?
- WhatsApp is included from the Growth plan up; Starter does not have it. Meta's own messaging charges, where they apply, are separate and billed by Meta.
- Is WhatsApp appropriate for privileged communication?
- That is a judgement for you as the professional, and it does not change because the messages are captured in a workspace. What the integration provides is a record and controlled access, not an opinion on what should be sent.
- Is there a free trial?
