Reading the queue
The inbox filters to Pending, Recent, or All, and you can search by title, tool name, or the person the action would affect. Selecting an item opens its full dossier: the exact inputs the tool would run with, who requested it, when, the run ID and tool-call ID behind it, and a trust path showing who requested it, what capability was proposed, and what the outcome would be.
The list refreshes on its own roughly every 15 seconds, so a queue you're watching stays current without a manual reload.
Deciding on an item
Every item is approved or rejected as a whole. There is no partial edit of what the agent proposed. If the proposed action isn't right, reject it and ask the agent for something different rather than trying to adjust it in place.
For approvals that came from a chat conversation, you can additionally choose 'Always allow for workspace', which changes the workspace's AI policy so that kind of action stops asking in future. This option is never offered for an approval raised by an automation. Automations always ask again.
- Approve or reject only, no partial edit
- 'Always allow for workspace' is chat-sourced approvals only
- Pending items expire automatically, typically within seconds to minutes
Where an approval comes from
Every item traces back to exactly one of two origins: a message in the Assistant, or a step in an Automation run. From the dossier you can jump straight back to that originating chat or run to see the fuller context around why the action was proposed.
How to
How to review and decide on a pending approval
- Open Approvals and filter to Pending.
- Select an item to open its dossier and read the exact inputs and the trust path.
- Approve or reject. If it came from a chat and you want this kind of action to stop asking, choose 'Always allow for workspace' instead of a plain approve.
Good to know
- Pending items are not held indefinitely. They expire automatically, usually within seconds to minutes, so a queue you leave unattended will clear itself rather than pile up.
- 'Always allow for workspace' changes a workspace-wide setting, not just your own.
