Real-time collaboration
Multiple people can edit the same note at once. Changes sync live between everyone viewing it, and you can see who else is in the note through live presence indicators.
Editing access depends on your role on the note. A viewer can read but not change the content; only owners and editors can make edits.
Pilot Mode
Pilot Mode is an inline AI autocomplete you turn on while writing. It suggests text as ghost text ahead of your cursor. Suggestions only appear in your own view; they are never sent to collaborators editing the same note with you.
If you hit the AI rate limit, Pilot Mode pauses itself for 20 seconds before suggesting again.
Access and note limits
Canvas requires a canvas:read permission to open at all. Without it, you'll see a dedicated "no access" screen instead of the note library.
You can only have one empty, untitled note open at a time. If you try to create a second one while an empty note already exists, QubitPilot reopens that existing note instead of creating a new one.
Deleting a note is only offered when the note allows it; not every note can be deleted by every user.
How to
How to share a note publicly
- Open the note and choose Share, then the Link tab.
- Turn the link on, choose a role (viewer or editor) and an expiry (never, 1, 7, or 30 days).
- Copy the link to send it. If you ever need to cut off access, rotate the link: the old one stops working immediately.
How to invite a teammate to a note
- Open the note, choose Share, then the People tab.
- Search for the teammate: only existing workspace members appear.
- Pick their role, viewer or editor, to add them as a collaborator.
Good to know
- A public share link that's expired, revoked, or invalid shows a plain "this link doesn't work anymore" message with no retry option. A new link has to be created and resent.
- Pilot Mode suggestions are local to you; they never appear for anyone else collaborating on the note.
- The Automations "Hearing preparation" template writes its output straight into a Canvas note.
