Who can use this module
Court Intelligence is available to the advocate/lawyer profession only. Workspaces set up under a different profession are redirected away from this module entirely.
Searching and tracking a case
Searching by a 16-character CNR is a pure lookup: by itself it does not track the case, create a task, add a calendar event, save any files, or enable alerts. If you want any of that, you take a further, explicit action.
"Add to My Court Cases" tracks the case going forward, and is its own separate step from searching. Enabling or disabling alerts (automatic notifications on a hearing-date change or new order) is a separate toggle again, independent of tracking. Removing tracking only stops tracking and alerts; it does not delete any internal case link, saved files, tasks, or calendar events you created earlier from that hearing.
- Search → Track → Link internal case → Enable alerts are four independent steps
- Removing tracking does not undo anything you've already linked, saved, or created
Linking to one of your cases
"Link internal case" connects a tracked court case to an existing case in your workspace by searching and selecting it. This never creates a new case. If the matter doesn't exist in your workspace yet, create it first from the Cases module, then come back and link it.
Working with hearings, orders, and the provider connection
From the Hearings sub-page, each hearing gives you three independent actions: add it to the calendar, create a preparation task, or set a manual reminder for a specific date and time you choose. Each button disables itself once you've already done that action for that hearing.
From Orders and Judgments, "Save to Files" downloads the order or judgment PDF into File Manager.
The connection to the court-data provider itself (under the Integration sub-page, admin-only) is self-serve and configured per workspace, unlike WhatsApp, which is provisioned by the QubitPilot team rather than something you connect yourself.
How to
How to link a CNR to a matter
- Search Court Intelligence for the case's 16-character CNR.
- Open the case and choose "Add to My Court Cases" if you want to keep tracking it.
- Separately, choose "Link internal case" and select the existing case in your workspace. This does not create a new case, so make sure it already exists.
- Turn on alerts if you want automatic notification of hearing-date changes or new orders. This is a separate toggle from tracking and linking.
How to set a reminder for a specific hearing
- Go to Court Intelligence → Hearings.
- Find the hearing and choose Set reminder.
- Pick the date/time and enter the reminder message. This is independent of the matter's alerts-enabled toggle.
Good to know
- Search results alone don't change anything in your workspace. Tracking, linking, and alerts are each an extra, explicit click.
- Untracking a case is non-destructive: any internal case link, saved files, tasks, or calendar events created earlier stay exactly where they are.
